Bits

Two days and counting until SUPERNATURAL premiere. Can hardly contain. Stay tuned for a recap after show. Wondering if it's worth Twittering about, too....

Might get to finally see INGLOURIOUS BASTERDS tonight....

Tony Lee sent a link so I can see advanced copy of HARKER before it comes out in October. Will be peeking at it soon because I can't wait!

Supposed to be my day off, but I'm a bit spastic and will be plotting a Blaze instead....

And there it is.

Caught your comment on Twitter and responded. Hells yeah, it's about time to get busy watchin' those luscious Winchester boys! Okay, now that I've momentarily stopped drooling (well, until I see how much buffer Jared has gotten since last season), have you heard about the other new CW show, THE VAMPIRE DIARIES?

I'm looking forward to catching that show. Not sure if it comes on before or after SUPERNATURAL. There are two hotties in that show

LOL! Yeah, I'm going to check out THE VAMPIRE DIARIES. Can't help myself. But what I *really* want is to see a crossover in which the Winchester boys go after those skinny vamp dudes. Better than a gladiator match.

Oh my gosh... do you mean the game Harker? I have been watching that game for months now trying to find a release date... if that is it, then you have to tell me how it is. I am so excited that there is finally going to be a video game with vampires that are actually like classic vampires and not the new age more science experiment gone wrong/zombie mix type of vampires.I hope that's what it is... haha.

Also excited about THE VAMPIRE DIARIES coming out on tv, especially because I actually have that channel. Going to pick up TruBlood season 1 on DVD so I can watch that one too. It's pretty exciting to see all these vamp related things coming out, after being such a rabid vamp fan for years. lol

Kaela!!! I'm not sure if Tony Lee's graphic novel is related to the game, but I've started to read his version and it's fantastic. It follows the book itself, taking up the story after Dracula's termination. So if you love classic vampires, you're going to love this. I can't wait to read more. ;0

Yes, SO many vamp avenues out there. It's heaven with fangs!

Speaking of which, how's college?

College is quite amazing. I am loving psychology which I am taking so I can take animal behavior. I'm going to major in Marine Biology and Zoology once my prereq's are out of the way. It's so much more fun than high school too. To say the least, I'm loving every bit of it.

The game takes place after Mina is taken by Dracula, and Jonathan Harker kind of takes a different role, you play as him and you basically go around finding clues [as far as I know] to Dracula's whereabouts all the while you are slaying vampires. The game play looks amazing, and the graphics are very good. It looks to be quite a thriller, and I have no release date for it yet, but it's supposed to be released this year from what I've read. Can't wait.

How is the writing going though? I've started making a reading list to follow since I am in the middle of so many series' right now, and another list of books that I want to read but still have to buy. Books books books. :) Looks like I'll be adding one to the list. HARKER - Tony Lee, I'll be looking forward to it. :D

That's great, Kaela! When I went to school, I used to love buying my textbooks; I'd go home and start reading them before class began. What a nerd!

The game HARKER sounds fun. I'm afraid to start gaming though. I know I'd become addicted, LOL. Still, the temptation remains....

Writing is going pretty well. I'm doing some revisions right now, so that's a lot of fun. (Snerk.) I'm looking forward to diving back into a draft. Next up is the second BLOODLANDS book for Ace. As for reading, I'm finishing up HAUNTING BEAUTY, which is a really gorgeous and original paranormal love story by Erin Quinn. And I *just* finished Tony Lee's HARKER (literally--I finished about 10 minutes ago and I just emailed him). Loved it. I'll be blogging about it next week, but it's as classic vampire as you can get. Actually, it feels like it takes up right after DRACULA left off. And what a page turner...I had to go back to really look at the art because I was racing to find out what happened next, LOL.
